Kısaca

Era için hesap açmazsın. Anıların, notların, fotoğrafların, yolculukların ve kartların iPhone'unda ve, eşitleme açıksa, kendi iCloud hesabında durur. Uygulama anılarının içeriğini bizim sunucumuza göndermez. Cihaz dışına çıkan üç şey var: yer aramaları (Apple Haritalar), yapay zeka özelliğini kullandığın anda o metin ya da sayfa (Google Gemini) ve adsız kullanım sayıları. Reklam yok, takip yok, verin satılmaz.

iCloud eşitlemesi

Ben sayfasında "iCloud ile eşitle" açıksa (varsayılan açık) defterin Apple'ın CloudKit hizmetiyle kendi iCloud hesabının özel alanına eşitlenir. Böylece aynı Apple hesabıyla açtığın cihazlarda aynı anıları görürsün, telefon değişince defterin kaybolmaz. Fotoğraflar ve kamera

Fotoğrafları iOS'un kendi seçicisinden seçersin; uygulama yalnız seçtiklerini görür. Kopyalar yeniden kodlandığı için konum (GPS) ve diğer EXIF bilgisi taşımaz. Yolculuklar ve harita

Bu içerik Bam Studio'nun sunucusu üzerinden Google Gemini API'ye gider, cevap gelince işi biter. Biz saklamayız; adın, başka anıların ve fotoğrafların isteğe eklenmez. Google tarafında Gemini API koşulları geçerli. Sunucumuz kötüye kullanımı önlemek için isteğin gerçek bir Era kurulumundan geldiğini Apple App Attest ile kontrol eder ve günlük istek sayısını sınırlar. İstemezsen bu özellikleri hiç kullanmazsın; her şeyi elle de ekleyebilirsin.

Kullanım istatistiği

Uygulamayı iyileştirmek için adsız sayılar toplarız. Her kurulum rastgele bir kimlik alır; bu kimlik adına, e-postana ya da Apple hesabına bağlanmaz. Gönderilenler:

Anının başlığı, notu, yer adı, fotoğraf ya da konum asla gönderilmez. Veriler Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Avrupa) üzerinde durur, olay kayıtları 90 gün sonra silinir. Debug sürümleri hiç yazmaz. Kurulum kimliğinle ilgili verinin silinmesini istersen bize yaz.

Bildirimler ve widget

Bildirimler varsayılan olarak kapalı. Açarsan (yeni zarf, haftalık ya da "bugün, yıllar önce") cihazda kurulan yerel bildirimlerdir; kilit ekranında anının adı ya da metni görünmez. Widget'lar ana ekranda bir anıyı, zarfı ya da son yolculuğunu gösterir; bu bilgiyi uygulama cihazdaki paylaşımlı anahtar zincirine yazar, dışarı gitmez. Zor dönem ve özel olarak işaretlediğin anılar ne bildirimde ne widget'ta çıkar.

Face ID

Kilidi açarsan uygulama açılırken Face ID ya da cihaz parolası sorulur. Yüz verisini iOS işler, uygulamaya biyometrik veri gelmez.

Abonelik

Era Pro, Apple'ın uygulama içi satın alma sistemiyle alınır. Ödemeyi Apple işler; uygulama kart bilgisi görmez.

Android sürümü

Android'de iCloud yok. Defterin telefonda durur; telefonun Google yedeği açıksa anıların ve fotoğrafların o yedeğe de girer ve yeni telefona geçince geri gelir. Verilerin silinmesi

Anıların yalnız senin cihazında (ve kendi iCloud ya da Google yedeğinde) durduğu için onları silmek senin elinde: uygulamada defteri silebilir ya da uygulamayı kaldırabilirsin. Bizde tutulan tek şey adsız kullanım sayıları ve kurulum kimliği. Era: Privacy Policy

In short

Era doesn't need an account. Your memories, notes, photos, trips and cards stay on your iPhone and, if sync is on, in your own iCloud account. The app never sends their content to our server. Three things do leave the device: place searches (Apple Maps), the text or page you send when you use an AI feature (Google Gemini), and anonymous usage counts. No ads, no tracking, and your data is never sold.

What stays on your device

• Book names and the names of people you write about
• Your memories: title, note, date, type, place, tags, favorites
• Resized copies of photos you add to memories and trip covers
• Your trips: stops, dates, transport, who you went with
• Your cards, any text you paste when importing, and your settings

"Export" on the Me page gives you everything in one file whenever you want, and "Restore from backup" brings that file back. The file is saved wherever you choose; it never comes to us.

iCloud sync

If "Sync with iCloud" is on in the Me page (it is by default), your journal syncs through Apple's CloudKit to the private area of your own iCloud account. That way the same memories appear on every device signed in to your Apple Account, and changing phones doesn't lose anything. Only you can access that area: nobody, including Bam Studio, can see its contents, and we don't collect this data. Storage and security follow Apple's iCloud terms. If you turn sync off, your memories stay on this phone only; you can delete the copy already in iCloud from the iCloud section of your iPhone Settings.

Photos and camera

You pick photos with the iOS picker, so the app only sees what you choose. Copies are re-encoded and carry no GPS or other EXIF data. Saving a card or route image to Photos asks for add-only access; your library is never read. The camera opens only when you scan a notebook page.

Trips and maps

When you add a stop, the place name you type goes to Apple Maps search. Road routes and the map image in route videos also come from Apple Maps. These requests only contain the searched place and stop locations, never your memories, photos or name. Era doesn't ask for location access and doesn't know where you are. Route videos and cards are made on your device.

AI features

There are three, and each runs only when you tap its button:

• Route draft: the text you write about a trip (up to 2,000 characters)
• Note cleanup: the notes you paste when importing
• Notebook scan: the image of the page you scan with the camera

That content goes through Bam Studio's server to the Google Gemini API and is done once the answer comes back. We don't store it, and your name, other memories and photos are never added. Google's Gemini API terms apply on their side. To prevent abuse, our server uses Apple App Attest to check that requests come from a genuine Era install, and it limits daily requests. You never have to use these features; everything can be added by hand.

Usage statistics

We collect anonymous counts to improve the app. Each install gets a random ID that is not tied to your name, email or Apple Account. What we receive:

• App version, iOS version, device model, language and region
• Which screens were opened and for how long
• Counts: memories, trips, cards, videos, envelopes opened, AI requests
• Whether you have Pro, your plan, and which screen you bought from

Memory titles, notes, place names, photos and location are never sent. The data lives on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Europe) and event logs are deleted after 90 days. Debug builds never write anything. If you'd like the data for your install ID deleted, write to us.

Notifications and widgets

Notifications are off by default. If you turn them on (new envelope, weekly, or "on this day"), they're local notifications set up on your device, and the lock screen never shows a memory's title or text. Widgets show a memory, an envelope or your latest trip on your Home Screen; the app writes that to the shared keychain on your device and it goes nowhere else. Memories marked as hard times or private never appear in notifications or widgets.

Face ID

If you turn on the lock, Era asks for Face ID or your passcode when it opens. iOS handles your face data; the app never receives biometric data.

Subscription

Era Pro is bought through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles the payment and the app never sees card details.

Android version

There is no iCloud on Android. Your journal stays on the phone; if your phone's Google backup is on, your memories and photos are included in it and come back when you move to a new phone. That backup lives in your own Google account and we can't see it. Place search and road routes come from OpenStreetMap based services (Photon, OSRM) instead of Apple Maps; only the place name you search for and the coordinates of your stops are sent. Map tiles load from OpenFreeMap and satellite imagery from Esri. AI requests are checked with Google Play Integrity instead of App Attest. The lock uses your fingerprint, face unlock or screen lock instead of Face ID. The subscription is bought and managed through Google Play.

Deleting your data

Your memories live only on your device (and in your own iCloud or Google backup), so deleting them is up to you: delete the book in the app or uninstall it. The only thing we hold is anonymous usage counts tied to an install ID. To have those deleted, write to merhaba@bamstudio.dev; we'll tell you what we need to find your record and delete it within 30 days. Event logs are deleted automatically after 90 days anyway.

Children

Era is not meant for children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their data.

Changes and contact

If we ever add something that moves data off your device, like backup, sync or shared books, this page will be updated first and the feature will only work if you turn it on. Questions: merhaba@bamstudio.dev
